MAWTS Received the Vocational Excellence Award 2014

MAWTS received “The Vocational Excellence Award 2014” from the Rotary Club of Uttara for its remarkable and tremendous contribution in development of skilled human resource, earning foreign remittance and helping to increase the Country GDP rate through its quality technical and vocational education and training including super class production since its inception in 1973.

On behalf of MAWTS Md Atiar Rahman, Manager (Training & Education) received the Award from Ms Safina Rahman, phf,b,md,phs, Roraty District Governor on the occasion of  24^th Installation and Vocational Excellence Award Giving Ceremony 2014 of Uttara Rotary Club on September 12, 2014.

The award was also been given to Mohammad Khurshed Alam, Secretary for the Maritime Affairs Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh; Mobasshira Farzana Mithila, Senior Presenter, Ekattor Media Ltd. and Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO, BRAC Bank Ltd.

During last 41 years MAWTS produced 38,293 Nos. (up to September 2014) skilled technical hands through its different training courses (Diploma-in-Engineering Courses, 3 Year Long Term Mechanical Courses and 1 to 14 weeks long various short/Modular courses) as well as provided 151,251 Nos. professional trade test certificates and most of them are employed with lucrative jobs across the country and abroad.
